Dwight Groves
Dr. C. Dwight Groves hails from West Virginia. He joined the Group for Women in 1985. Prior to medical school, Dr. Groves completed three years of Active Duty in the Air Force and then obtained his biology degree from West Virginia University. He then completed medical school at Marshall University with internship and residency to follow at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Groves introduced Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and Myomectomy to the Group and Sentara Leigh Hospital in 2001. He teaches these procedures nationally. Dr. Groves and his wife have six grown children and three grandchildren.
